Research in my group is disciplinary, merging the subjects of robotics, mechanical engineering, control engineering, biomedical engineering, smart materials, soft mechanics, etc.

Postdoc position: Expected background in soft robotics, robot trajectory planning and motion control, smart materials and soft functional materials, biodesign and 3D printing, etc.

Ph.D. position: Self-motivated and hard-working students are encouraged. Students with background in robotics, mechanical engineering, control engineering, biomedical engineering, smart materials, soft mechanics, are very welcome.

Undergraduate researcher positions: My group is active in recruiting undergraduates to involve in frontier interdisciplinary research, to enhance their further graduate school applications as well as industry career preparations.

Visiting Students/Scholars: Visiting students (earning degree with SJTU or your home institutions) and scholars with similar engineering and science background are welcome.
